Monika Michałowska

Monika Michałowska, University Professor at the Chair of Humanities, Department of Bioethics, Medical University of Łódź, Poland. Her research focuses on fourteenth century concepts of the will, the ethics of Richard Kilvington, the application of logic and natural philosophy to the fields of ethics and theology. She published critical editions Richard Kilvington's Quaestiones super libros Ethicorum, Brill, 2016, Critical Edition of Question 3 from Quaestiones super libros Sententiarum, Brill 2021, and Critical Edition of Question 4 from Quaestiones super libros Sententiarum (co-authored with E. Jung) Brill 2022. She has recently co-edited a volume on the late medieval concepts of the will, Willing and Understanding: Late Medieval Debates on the Will, the Intellect, and Practical Knowledge (Brill 2023 forthcoming) with Riccardo Fedriga.
